PD Dr Fabian von Knoch at the 2026 swiss orthopaedics Annual Congress in Basel

As part of the specialist session ‘Controversies in knee surgery for patients with osteoarthritis’, organized by the Knee Expert Group of swiss orthopaedics, PD Dr Fabian von Knoch contributed to the session program and presented an overview of unicompartmental knee replacement.

The presentation focused on careful selection between partial and total knee replacement, partial knee replacement following previous osteotomy, and combined partial knee replacement. These topics were subsequently discussed with other specialists in an expert panel.

Fabian von Knoch has been a member of the Knee Expert Group of swiss orthopaedics since 2013.
