2. Scope and legal framework
This policy explains how personal data is processed when this website is used. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its ordinance apply. Where applicable in an individual case, the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation are also taken into account.
3. Website access and server logs
When the website is accessed, the server processes technical data including IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, data volume, referrer, and browser type and version. This is required to provide the website securely and reliably, investigate errors and prevent misuse.
Hosting is provided by cyon GmbH, Basel, Switzerland, whose infrastructure is located in Switzerland. Under cyon’s default settings, raw server logs are deleted daily and therefore contain no more than 24 hours of access data. Where statistics or backups are enabled, the agreed retention periods apply.
4. Contact
If you contact us by telephone or email, we process the information you provide to respond, organize appointments and, where necessary, prepare or provide medical services. Medical information may constitute sensitive personal data and is also subject to professional confidentiality.
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, optional telephone number and message are sent to the practice by email. The website does not store these messages in a database. Please do not submit sensitive medical information through this form. For medical documents, use the practice’s HIN email or contact the practice by telephone.
Correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to deal with the inquiry or to comply with statutory retention and documentation obligations.
5. Embedded services
Locally hosted fonts
The font files used on this website are served directly from the website’s own server. Loading the fonts does not establish a connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
Google Maps
A Google Maps map is embedded on the contact page. Opening that page may transmit technical data such as IP address and browser information to Google and may involve cookies or similar technologies. Google may process data outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Google’s privacy terms apply. Browser settings or content blockers can restrict these services, although this may affect website functionality.

This website currently uses no proprietary analytics, advertising or profiling services. The contact form uses a technically necessary session cookie to protect against misuse. A temporary rate limit uses a hash derived from the IP address; message contents are not stored in this rate limit. Technically necessary cookies may also be set by embedded third parties or the hosting infrastructure. No automated individual decision-making takes place.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Personal data is disclosed to service providers only where required to operate the website or process an inquiry, or where required by law. Google Maps may involve transfers to the United States and other countries. Providers rely on safeguards available under applicable data protection law.
