Controversies in unicompartmental knee arthroplasty

As part of the special session “Controversies in unicompartmental knee arthroplasty” organised by the Swiss Orthopaedics Knee Expert Group, PD Dr. med. Fabian von Knoch contributed to the concept of the session and gave a review lecture on unicompartmental knee arthroplasty.

The discussion focused on differentiated indications compared with total knee arthroplasty, partial replacement after previous osteotomy and combined partial arthroplasty. These questions were then discussed with other experts in a panel.

Fabian von Knoch has been a member of the Swiss Orthopaedics Knee Expert Group since 2013.
